Winter Weather Advisory
Issued by the National Weather Service at 4:23 am EST on January 7, 2009

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 am EST this
morning...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 am EST this
morning.

Freezing rain will changeover to plain rain from southeast to
northwest through mid morning as temperatures gradually rise above
the freezing mark.

Additional minor accumulations of ice are possible this morning
before the changeover to rain occurs. Additional ice accumulations
will primarily be on elevated surfaces. Total ice accumulations of
one to two tenths of an inch can be expected over elevations above
1000 feet... with less than a tenth of an inch below 1000 feet.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain will
cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and
limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
